The Veterans Day National Committee is now accepting submissions for the 2024 Veterans Day Poster Contest. To view examples of past winning submissions, visit Veterans Day Poster Gallery. Submit electronic versions as jpg images or PDF files by email to vetsday@va.gov. The deadline for submissions is April 1, 2025. The Veterans Day National Committee will review submissions May 2025 to select the winning design. Questions? The VA and the Veterans Day National Committee invite entries for this year’s contest, with submissions due by 11:59 p.m. (EDT) on April 1, 2024. The winner will be chosen by the committee in May. For the 2024 Veterans Day Poster Contest, the Veterans Day National Committee (VDNC) called on professional and amateur artists to create picture perfect designs that reflect the theme of this year’s Veterans Day observance, “A Legacy of Loyalty and Service.” The theme for Veterans Day 2024 is “A Legacy of Loyalty and Service”, and this year’s winning poster was designed by Myisha Godette, a retired, disabled Army Veteran from Queens, New York. Myisha’s design was driven by a desire to represent all who have served. The winning poster will be distributed to VA facilities and military installations worldwide and across cities and towns in our nation. It will also serve as the cover of the official program for the Veterans Day National Observance at Arlington National Cemetery, scheduled for Nov. 11, 2024.
