Thursday, November 11, 2021. This annual community Parade and Memorial Ceremony is hosted on Veteran's Day each year. For more information please contact AJVDparade@aol.com or Dave Waldron at (480) 250-0944. The day begins with the Veterans Day Parade, a beloved tradition in Apache Junction. The parade will commence at 9:30 a.m. along Apache Trail, starting from the Focal Point. Spectators can expect a thrilling start with a flyover, followed by an array of patriotic floats. Here is the schedule for the day of the parade: 6:30 am - The road closure will start from Idaho to Gold on both sides for OWH & Apache Trail 7:00 am - 9:00 am - Check in and staging 9:15 am -... The parade route remains the same as previous years. Line-up begins at Apache Trail and Phelps Drive, near the Focal Point. The parade route will travel west on Apache Trail, turning south on Gold Drive, then turning east onto Apache Trail and returning to the starting location of the parade. Come help honor our veterans by attending the Veteran’s Day Parade! The parade will traverse up and down Apache Trail to help show our appreciation for our men and women in uniform.
