Just wondering what type of servers people prefer, I used to play on regular but I just switched to Veteran. According to the DayZ Wiki: Servers differ in difficulty level, regular difficulty allows third-person, has a crosshair, and allows you to see other players nameplates. Veteran servers do not permit these. On the vanillaplus community servers, I've found a hard 50/50 on the interaction vs. KOS ratio maintaining itself strongly. I know that Regular has nametags on, crosshairs on, and third person on. I'm pretty sure Veteran removes all of those (though some servers turn third person back on).
