Adelaide On Sunday 18 August, the Vietnam War Commemorative Service was conducted by a group of ex-service organisations at the Vietnam War Memorial adjacent to Torrens Parade Ground, Adelaide. Two hundred veterans and friends paid their respects, with Her Excellency the Governor and Mr Bunten attending. These activities will lead into a national commemorative service on Vietnam Veterans’ Day, 18 August 2023, recognising the service of all Australians in the Vietnam War and honouring the sacrifices that they and their families made.
